# Explore Apps

## Signing in

Sign in with a social login, or connect an existing wallet if you have one.
Signing in lets you save apps, keep your progress across devices, leave reviews,
and earn [Elata Points](/overview/points).

## Finding apps

The home page highlights featured and recommended apps, and recommendations get
more personal as you play. Browse by category:

| Category | Examples |
| - | - |
| **Games** | Games that react to your heart rate or brain signals |
| **Neurometrics** | Live EEG and heart-rate dashboards |
| **Wellness** | Breathwork, meditation, and recovery |
| **Tools** | Focus timers and self-tracking |
| **Experiments** | Studies, prototypes, and research apps |

## App pages

Each app has a page with:

* **Overview:** description, screenshots, and links
* **Reviews** and **Community** comments
* **Team:** who built it
* **Updates:** release notes

## Playing apps

1. Open an app's page.
2. Click **Play**.
3. Grant camera or Bluetooth access if the app asks for it.

Apps run right in your browser. What each app needs:

| App type | You need |
| - | - |
| Camera (rPPG) | A webcam and a modern browser |
| EEG headband | A supported headband (such as Muse) and a Chromium-based browser with Web Bluetooth |

Some apps offer in-app items or a monthly subscription. Purchases go through
Elata's checkout, never through the app itself.

  You can install an app to your home screen from its play page. It opens
  straight back into the app.

## Your data

Biosignal processing happens on your device. An app can only contribute derived
session results to your cross-app Score if you explicitly allow it, and you can
change that any time. See [Privacy and consent](/overview/privacy-and-consent).

* **Saved:** apps you've saved
* **Insights:** your activity and Score across apps
* **Points:** your Elata Points balance and history
* **Notifications:** updates from apps and people you follow
