What the Score is

Your biometric Score is a single number from 0 to 100 that reflects your results across the apps you use, such as how much calmer you got during sessions compared with your own baseline. It’s off by default. Nothing counts toward it until you say yes.

Turning it on

An app that can contribute to your Score asks Elata to show you a consent prompt. The prompt comes from Elata itself, not from the app, and explains what is shared:
  • Shared: derived session results, such as your average heart rate or how your calm level changed during a session, with quality information
  • Never shared: raw camera video, raw EEG, or raw heart signals

What you’ll see

  • Calibrating: your Score needs a few good sessions before it’s stable. Until then, apps and your Insights page show it as calibrating.
  • Your Score: once calibrated, it updates as you use contributing apps.
  • Insights page: your activity and Score across apps, on your Elata profile.
Low-quality sessions, for example with a lot of movement, may not count.

Turning it off

You can turn sharing off at any time on Elata, and apps that ask can offer the same choice through Elata’s prompt. After that, apps can no longer contribute to your Score. Elata checks your current choice on its server every time an app reports a result. If the consent terms change in a meaningful way, you’ll be asked again.

Keep in mind

The Score is for personal insight and fun. It isn’t a medical or psychological assessment. See Safety and limitations and, for how it’s built, Metrics and scores.
