The short version

  • Raw signals stay on your device. Camera video, raw EEG, and raw heart signals are processed in your browser.
  • Apps never learn who you are. They run in a sandbox and can’t see your email, wallet, or account.
  • Sharing beyond an app is opt-in. Only derived results, and only if you turn on the biometric Score.
  • You can ask for your data or its deletion at any time.

What’s kept, and where

Retention periods for usage data are listed in the privacy policy.

Your choices

  • Camera and Bluetooth: your browser asks before any app can use them. You can revoke access in your browser’s site settings.
  • The Score: turn sharing on or off at any time. See Score and insights.
  • Reminders: apps can only remind you through Elata, reminders are off until you allow them, and your choice is remembered per app.

Access, export, and deletion

Under Elata’s privacy policy you can ask to access, correct, delete, export, or restrict your personal data. Email info@elata.bio from the address on your account. The policy commits to a response within 30 days. Apps on Elata are built by independent developers. If an app links to its own privacy terms, those apply to anything the app does outside Elata.
