Elata is free to browse and play. Money only moves when someone chooses to buy something, and every payment goes through Elata’s checkout, never through an app directly.
Status. In-app purchases are live on a test network (Ethereum Sepolia). App subscriptions and Elata membership are experimental and may show “Coming soon” in Elata until they’re enabled. See What’s live.

What users can pay for

Prices are shown in USDC, a dollar-pegged stablecoin. Membership can also be paid by card. See Membership and purchases.

How builders earn

Revenue is paid to the app owner’s wallet after Elata’s platform fee. Builders also earn Elata Points for publishing an app and for reaching play milestones. Points are not money and can’t be sold.

What Elata charges

Membership and app subscriptions together

Members get access to every gated app without paying each app separately. For builders, members count as subscribers: they can open your gated app.

What’s not part of monetization

Earlier versions of Elata let each app launch its own token on a bonding curve. That model is retired: apps are now registered with a one-time fee, and no token is involved in buying or selling on Elata. See What’s live.
